Barker has been obsessed with Theatre for many years. He has been training in Singing, Dancing, Acting and Music for over a decade. Oliver trains at"The Riley School Of  Dance", "Stage Box Musical Theatre" and he studies music at "Hill House School". In 2017 Oliver won the "All England Dance" Song and dance award at The Hackney Empire Theatre London. Earlier that year he also won the Musical Theatre award  at "The Robin Hood Music and Drama festival". Barker has won the Scunthorpe festival bursary twice and received £1000.00 funding to further his training. and he has been very successful in dance, drama and music competitions all over the country.

Barker has been writing music and poetry since the age of  8, started writing the music for "Mayflower the musical" when he was 13 years old. Barker has written two musicals to date and his latest project is "Far from freedom" an opera in three acts.
